[Rec] proves to be an enjoyably jump-inducing ride into the horrific and panicky, moving so fast (in part due to the very short, barely-feature-length running time of 77 minutes) that it’s over seemingly in the same instant that it starts.

REC is another found footage/documentary style film. It was a good movie for it's time; however, hasn't aged well. The main actor was not very good, and these movies lose appeal when the main character turns to the cameraman and says "Make sure you film this" the entire movie. Also, movies that become isolated into one location, especially for a Zombie movie, become redundant as the movie and scenes take place in the same 5 rooms. Like why return to a room you found a zombie in 3 times? No one would.

I loved it. This found footage film is what made me love found footage films. Though a bit short to my liking, the cinematics and storyline of the movie make it well-made.
