The movie opens up an interesting dilemma for a remake. Could they put the head of an obnoxious Liberal female onto the towering body of an NBA (male) player? How would you work the DEI requirements into this mad scientist drama? Dubbing into English was decent and this was a German flick ... leave it to the Germans to come up with strippers and head transplants! It's the usual nonsense about a mad surgeon deciding that grafting the head of a hunchback on to a beautiful nightclub singer will result in professional approbation and sexual nirvana. The movie treads water at the two-thirds mark, but there are interesting nods to superior works like Les Yeux Sans Visage, Mystery of the Wax Museum and Bride of Frankenstein.
