Weird movie 6/10 See more K G @KatyG-S Jun 15 A loveable family tale involving miniature people. From the start, we have an adorable story being told with ever so funny parts here & there. There is very wonderful acting/casting with wit, humour, sympathy & courage. LISTING: John Goodman portraying Ocious P Potter, the evil man plotting to demolish the Lenders house, sending away the Lenders & would easily terminate the Borrowers. The parents of Pete Lender had it cooked with his mothers firm signific appearance (like her hair) she really seemed that she was not happy with something & we were too. Altogether, the family of the Clocka had been a great point of it: they all looked related with their curly & ginger hair & sweet buttoned up clothing, they were adventurous & slightly sane too. I even give credits to the set designs & props: when the Clocks were being filmed, those larger versions of the items in the old house were so realistic that it looked as if the camera was filmed so closed-up to the tables & boards, it was so convincing that they were real & small. It was crazy to have English characters using British terms like "chips" in an American environment (who would use American terms like "fries") but who cares See more Brian S @brisaunders 03/28/2025 This movie should be considered a family classic!
