With the final days of World War II looming over the greatly weakened Axis powers, German and Italian soldiers face the grim reality of steadily approaching defeat. Leading one such troop of soldiers, German Lt. Gunther (Thomas Pohn), accompanied by Italian Lt. Gianini (Fabio Sartor) and his men, attempt to hold the lines in northern Italy, with divided loyalties tearing them apart. Meanwhile, American Sgt. Malone (John McVay) must deliver supplies to the Allies on the front line.
