Leigh T @Leighharvie Feb 4 This movie is one of those where most people will either love or hate it. 1922 in my opinion is a slow and bleak movie but strangely enjoyable. The movie is extremely well made and makes the extremely slow movie enjoyable. The only thing that I did not enjoy was how strong Thomas Jane's accent was while i understand the accent was extremely important to his character it was quite often very hard to understand him. Overall the cinematography of the film was excellent and the acting was exceptional while there was some boring moments and Thomas Jane's accent was frustrating this film is very much worth setting aside the time to watch. I will read the book and feel better. See more Ravi kiran P @Ravikiran Jan 3 I just finished watching 1922 and oh god what an art 🖼️ it was. Pure work of class. It shows how misery can end someone’s life. At the end what Wilfred and Henry did which was killing his wife. What was it all for ? Just to die miserably 😔 It was so dark and it just held me the way wilf narrated the whole sequences through his writing and also felt how good they used mice 🐁 to show and always remind wilf about what he did and even Henry got bit by the mice and his face gets completely disfigured. Ah such a miserable way to end life for all of them. I also liked the thought of there will always be another way and what happens if we picked the wrong ones and how life can turn upside down within a span of one year 🥺 See more Idodeclareindeed B @Idodeclareindeed Nov 11 Amazing. I wasn't entirely sure this was Thomas Jane, but he was so, so so good in this. It's not a big flashy movie so people that bore easily obviously complained in the audience score, but if you appreciate atmosphere and dread in these horror-ish types of movies you'll love this. I dont how it gets 97 % rating here. Matter of fact, good movies do not get high ratings but worse and bire movies get high rating. It’s at times gruesome, with a good amount of scary spooks but there is too much drama and some parts are dull. I’m fond of slow burn films so I enjoyed this film. See more Read all reviews
