This outrageously funny esports comedy follows Vivian "V" Lee (Paris Berelc), a competitive gamer whose impressive skills have landed her a college scholarship and a place on the Betas, Barrett University's male-dominated team. But when the Betas' captain Dustin (Taylor Zakhar Perez) tells V she'll never be a starting player, it's game on. The script reads like an early draft of an Ernst Cline novel, with mile-a-minute nerd references that are meant to cover the thin ready-bake stereotypes that make up the 8-Bits.

Esperaba menos pero dentro de todo me termino gustando. La historia es 100% cliché, no hay sorpresa ahí, pero tiene buenos momentos de comedia así que se disfruta. Con "spoilers" la partida de la gallina fue la mejor escena, lejos.

i loved it great movie but because of some of the language and all that an some of the things they do an it being rated R only recommend it for adults but really good funny movie an a real throw back memory for old games shown in parts of the movie the movie dose have a lot of dry adult humor but still really funny

I'll be honest. I only made it maybe a third of the way through this movie. I had to turn it off shortly after the seen when the new team meets the old team during some weird initiation. I participated in a "Clue" student movie in like 8th grade shot on two VHS Camera's with a bunch of my classmates. There was more thought put into that movie's dialog, storyline, scenes than this one. I'm a gamer. I've been gaming since a 14.4k dialup connection in high school. I don't know for whom this was made... I doubt the writers even know unless it was just for themselves. I like Ruby Rose. But my god, she keeps getting into these trash movies/tv shows. Don't waste your time on this. That's it, time, right? You already pay for Prime. It's just time and bandwidth. Go organize your kitchen drawers... you'll have a better experience.
