Frans B @FransB 5d B Grade at best. Lazy writing and wooden acting from cast makes it difficult to watch. Familiar premise, but uneasy lapses and irregularities in "plot" creates vague and blunt picture. Whole cast, including the amazing Ben Kingsley, looks uncomfortable and a bit dazed at times. Lots of planning and going to some lengths in production does shine through though. Chandran Rutnam is hugely popular in Sri Lanka and no stranger to directing and also experienced Hollywood vibes, but this movie is perhaps not precisely what he envisioned. Seems quite cheap, some of the acting is kind of crapy, but I simple love it. And Ben K. is amazing as always!
