Steve (Taylor Gray) is a night watchman in his early 20s but his life is already getting away from him: his band is falling apart, he owes a ton of money, and he's in love with his best friend's girl. For the most part, Any Day Now is an enjoyable film. It’s not the best of heist movies, or relationship dramas for that matter, but it has characters and instances that make it intriguing to watch.

Guilfoyle is getting the rare chance to really have fun as a bad-ass career criminal who presents himself as cooler than anyone else in the room. I’ve seen the actor play heavies and broadly comic before, but this was an absolute delight to observe.

ANY DAY NOW is a quirky buddy comedy that will mostly be of interest to people with ties to Boston. Writer/director Eric Aronson has chosen to piggyback his fictional story on top of the real story of the still-unsolved 1990 Gardner Museum heist.

“Any Day Now” isn’t perfect, but when Guilfoyle gets to sing the Standells’ “Dirty Water” it’s like that moment in Belfast for Jamie Dornan. Marty is a man of many layers and Guilfoyle makes the most of his nuanced past.

It’s a film set in Boston for the people who aren’t enamored with its tourist sites, but rather know it for its ordinary settings. [...] Though it is at times predictable due to comedy and heist movie tropes, it remains a good and enjoyable watch.

Genuinely very bad. Poorly made, I get that the budget must have been incredibly low but theres no excuse to have a DoorDash sticker center frame in a period piece. The cinematography is awful, there is no color grading, the script is poorly made, makes no sense. The humor is based on stupidity that has absolutely no logic, the fact that this movie got made makes me think the writer/director put up all the money because he clearly didn't go to film school or learn basic plot structure.
