There is no doubt that [Atul] Sabharwal has a voice, which is evident in the less constructed parts of Aurangzeb. Maybe it will emerge fully with his second film.

Mr. Kapoor and Mr. Shroff, stars of an earlier generation, are well cast and well matched. Where a '70s Hindi film might pit villagers against an evil landowner, "Aurangzeb" paints a more complex picture of villainy.

Aurangzeb keeps you engaged as it reimagines the classic Bollywood trope of brothers on opposite sides of the law and the potential redemption of filial love. Sadly, cynicism and ambivalence are the modern components to this narrative.

Not your standard gangster-vs-police movie. This movie, with a star cast, not only delivers but only leaves the viewer in awe. While Prithviraj surviving the bullet and the son miraculously saves his actual brother is so overexagerrated, it is still really entertaining. This movie is like a tangle, people in different places doing different things, aiming for diferrent outcomes and how this all meets up. Go watch it, it isnt as bad as people say it is.

wat a waste, a movie wid a lot of garbage, a lot of useless scenes, unnecessary dialogues, there are that much (uninteresting) character, so that I even forgot name of many. performance : somewhere arjun was good somewhere he was shaky, rishi kappor looked good and acted well NOT A ONE TIME WATCH

An exciting and original screenplay inspired from historical literature. Good intense performances, but suffers from the plot wearing out due to use of some poor dialogues and sequences, but overall the language and tone of the film is very good and reminds you of the good ol' Ram Gopal Varma's underworld/political dramas.
