I feel sorry for the visual artist to have been roped into such a poor project. See more Craig B @Boundsy 03/04/2025 Blackout certainly seemed like it was offering a promising premise. However, it just misses for me. I don't know what it is, but perhaps it falls down when you compare it to An American Werewolf in London, The Company of Wolves, Werewolves Within and even The Howling. More drama than horror, with some long stretches without much happening. It's not a complete loss, and a movie you just have to watch to make up your own mind.
