Exploding from the pages of Marvel Comics comes the thrilling follow-up to the blockbuster "Blade." Seen it maybe 3,000 times like the other Blade films. Wesley Snipes goes crazy killing vampires with his sword and pistols. The action is icky and has tons of gallons of blood. It seems painfully stupid to me. If you can ignore that then the action is entertaining and the effects are fine. It is not a major change from the first film but it is still a relatively fun way of passing time. The story was fine. Lots of action even if it is a bit repetitive and silly. There were a lot of parts of the story that diminished everything that happened in the first movie. This is a serious downgrade compared to the first one, but I still really enjoyed watching it.
