With elements that seem borrowed from movies like Goodfellas and Boogie Nights, Blow is pretty much been-there-done-that despite another excellent performance from Johnny Depp. It, also, becomes too sentimental at the end.

Underrated for sure. The first 3 quarters present an awesome and lively historical drama. The last quarter is a bit of a dud though, slow and boring.

The beginning of the movie is so awesome. You get that context High of just how awesome some blowcaine is. Love that stuff- this movie is super dope. Penelope Cruz suckkkkkksss though, like bro she ain’t even bad. George needed to get a grip. He made 60 million which is like 200 million in today’s money. Buy a new wife

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Blow is kinda weird. It starts hot and heavy but ends barely flickering around George's hallucinations about his daughter. Maybe they tried to do too much. Pee Wee is a trip, too.

So much better than Traffic which came out a few months prior and had all the critical praise, winning awards, etc. This film really centered on the human dynamic of the characters it focused on. Also, there was none of the hypocrisy of the so called "drug czar" fighting the good fight that you see in Traffic. Love Michael Douglas but his character never seemed that real to me. Sicario it certainly was not!
