The father's chicanery is the brightest spot in a screenplay that makes the heroine a shrill stooge for everyone else's agenda as the protagonists bicker their way to self-discovery and mutual regard.

Uma família disfuncional linda, um filme delirante e delicioso… Um road filme simples, cheio de clichés cômicos, um drama aflorado, mas entrecortado nas entrelinhas da comédia, que nos faz rir e chorar, tão o improvável quando apaixonante… Tudo muito divertido até que temos uma mulher enlouquecida, precisando de terapia, infeliz o tempo todo, luta como uma leoa para ser mãe, e um pai irresponsável e traficante, tudo isso me revoltou, uma mulher linda e generosa que não sabe impor LIMITES.

3 & 1/4 stars. Really enjoyed seeing Christopher Plummer portray an old hippie pot dealer. It is a wacky kind of comedy about communication, acceptance & love.

It's all about nothing , everyone's dysfunctional . But at face value a Stella cast: really very tuned to their characters , a delight see them obviously enjoying working together. Sadly probably the last capture of a very good talent of Peter Fonda & Christopher plumber on celuloid.

This is a strange yet decent road trip film. There are alot of what seem to be cringe worthy moments which seem to bring down the film. It does get funny and brings the drama and brings those good what's going to happen next moments it is just a bit strange. It is cute with the animals though and is not a terrible movie and is not a very good one either. I reccomend Green Book, another road trip movie that came out in 2018 and won best picture, especially cause of the way it is shot, but Boundaries is fine. 3 to 3 and a half.
