(I didn't realize how much I missed movies shot on film.) I've never been a huge fan of the slasher movies in general, especially Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I like the idea of doing movie inspired by TCM, set in the '70s but more inclusive (of other races and members of the LGBTQ community). Also, I was personally grateful that it wasn't wall-to-wall naked screaming bloody women. See more Jonathan L. @Leach45 Dec 4, 2025 This movie was definitely not great by any means. The character development was lackluster, the editing was awful, and the overall plot of the movie was generic. I can’t really recommend this movie unless you literally have nothing else to watch, and even then you are probably going to be on your phone through the majority of it. One twist in the movie did somewhat save the rating from being a half star though. Watch at your own risk on this one. They are one dimensional and uninspiring. I didn't care for any of them and if they died or survived. Do yourself a favor and just watch the hills have eyes remake or the original texas chainsaw massacre. They are both better then this roadkill.
