Racheal L @insomniac_racheal 1 day ago The trailer was brilliant, but the movie was an absolute masterpiece 🔥 This was a very entertaining thriller but I felt as though the writers revealed the antagonist far too quickly, some scenes defied logic and there were far too many plot holes. I have to admit that even though Taron Egerton was excellent as the panicked protagonist, Jason Bateman completely stole the show with a chillingly sinister performance. The story eventually builds towards a high-octane ending that, while a bit predictable, delivers a thoroughly satisfying, action-heavy payoff. It was nice to see Dean Norris, even though I felt he was wasted. Theo Rossi is wasted a majority of his screen time, but his evil sniper character shines near the finale. Sofia Carson as the girlfriend gives a very wooden performance. Couple of moments that are hard to believe, but I had a fun time with this flick.
