Mark Duplass keeps the character of Josef playful and fun, with an undercurrent of danger and seriousness just below the surface. Aaron and his actions are very easy to empathize with, which makes it very disturbing when thing go wrong.

8.3/10 Found footage, creepy, 2014 Pretty good found footage movie, not as good as hell house LLC Guy hires videographer because he claims he has cancer and wants to make it for his son. Gets progressively more creepy and the videographer gets things in the mail from him finds out he was lying. Creepy lead actor. Unsettling.

Before the phone call with Josefs sister, the film felt funny, cringe, and creepy. After that call, I knew Aaron was going to die; I just didn't know when until the lake scene. I liked how the film built up to the final scene with Josef. Great film.
