It ought to be reported as a feminist favourite. Yes, I am being serious. Who is the star of the show, so to speak? Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee. But who is the person that makes everything happen? Who is the decision maker? Sue Charlton. Linda Kozlowski plays Sue, a New York journalist on assignment to Australia, who insists that she has to do one last feature before coming home: the Crocodile Dundee story. After her adventure with Dundee in the bush, she hits on him and then invites him back to the USA for a taste of urban jungle. He continues to impress her, stateside, and when she realises where her feelings are now leading her, she acts! She doesn't wait around. She takes charge! She goes after what she wants, and how! And why not, indeed! This is a marvellously funny romantic adventure movie. Kozlowski and Hogan really did fall in love and got married. The perfect ending.
