Shailendra K @RT46198328 2 days ago It is rare to come across a Bollywood crime thriller which feels real, that doesnt stray from its main plot and makes the audience think about their position on the principles of the movie's clashing protagonists. Daayra is an extremely well written and masterfully directed movie by Meghna Gulzar with two interconnected detective stories running in two different timelines solving a horrific crime based on real life events. Meghna leaves it to the audience in the end to make an extremely difficult decision to pick a side between law and morality. The movie has the vibe and feel of Meghna Gulzar's gripping Talvar and a superb Prithviraj - Kareena showdown scene which is almost at the level of the iconic Pacino - DeNiro sit down from Heat. Daayra is one of the finest Hindi crime procedurals that I have seen in recent times. Kudos to Meghna Gulzar for making such a gripping movie and hats off to Prithviraj and Kareena for such balanced performances.
