In this tumultuous comedy, five eccentric dog owners seek help in dealing with their four-legged friends. Their last hope: an intensive course with the charismatic and legendary dog trainer Nodon in the Tyrolean mountains. The quirky group includes dog-hating politician Ursula, who has adopted the stubborn dog Brenda to polish up her image; naive Babs with her large, boisterous dog Torsten; the bickering couple Ziggy and Helmut with their spoiled YorkshireTerrier Gaga; and last but not least, distanced Hakan, who mistrusts his insecure Belgian Shepherd Roxy. Dog trainer Nodon tries to coach the overwhelmed two-legged friends using unusual methods. Quickly it becomes clear that it is not their loyal four-legged companions who need help, but the owners themselves.

Annoyingly insubstantial, Eat Pray Bark quickly dissipates from the memory like a Yorkie yip into a blustery gale. Go to Full Review

This film is a curiosity and might disappoint kids assuming the movie is about cute furry friends. Most dog-related movies at least have adorable dogs to focus on. Here, the animals are secondary to a bunch of mostly unpleasant and neurotic humans. Go to Full Review

Isn’t something that demands attention, but for viewers interested in a gentle distraction partially highlighting the world of canine behavior, this is at least a capably acted feature, and some of the open world locations can’t be beat. Go to Full Review

elisa A @RT96211449 1d bored from the very first minute. See more Sarah P. @RT14925750 2d Great fun to watch with your dog. It's a simple feel-good movie with character growth and a positive message. See more Summer A @RT09889588 2d This is a cute, heartwarming, funny, and family-friendly movie. I would recommend it for a relaxing night in. There is a character in a loincloth in one scene, but no nudity, no sex, no cursing. See more C B @RT03025588 4d A gentle, canine comedy for the whole family. If you are in the right mood for corny humor with likeable characters, this might do the trick. See more Mao N @Maoneia 5d A wonderful, lighthearted film that everyone should watch. It's about kindness, self-understanding, and love for animals. See more Mike W @MikeW269 5d The movie was better than my rating, or would have been if I spoke German. There is always a loss in translation. See more Read all reviews
