Enemy is brimming with non-commercial bravado that borders on being confessional. Just as Hitchcock made manifest his voyeuristic and controlling proclivities, Villeneuve exposes his own conflicted feelings towards women and monogamy.

Jake Gyllenhaal delivered. Everyone else involved delivered confusion. The yellow filter was a crime and the CGI was fighting for its life. The plot had potential but it landed like a fart, it felt flat. Don’t get me started on the unnecessary sex scenes? Good movie though

The acting was great, but the story with the wife and girlfriend flagged a little. It confused me, especially that bit about the ring toward the end.
