Innovative Storytelling and Cinematic filming, bold fresh and compelling. It truly captured the peril and heartbreak of immigrant families lives that were shattered fleeing war torn 80s Afghanistan.

Must see film! Sad and beautifully told story. Real life, real people. I took 4 kids w me to see it. This is what teenagers should watch to understand that life is not all iPhones and iPads and super heroes. Thank you for sharing your story!

I wanted to love this movie, but really can't. From the trailers, I expected something more groundbreaking and riveting, and it wasn't anything memorable. it is nowhere near as inspiring or insightful as the movie hopes to be. It's really just a basic documentary with a lot of animation, which isn't all that well done or effective. Take away the animation trick and its just a typical documentary, with subjects of immigrants/refugees and gay man, which aren't new or all that interesting. Probably one of the most disappointing documentaries I have seen in the past two years. Not worth the drive to the theater, not worth the ticket price and not worth being stuck in a theater for 90 minutes, especially during Covid. Better to wait and stream it for free than a theater trip. I would probably be less disappointed if I saw it at home free rather than driving to a theater and paying for tickets. A big disappointment not worth the price. Best to not buy tickets, and just stream it instead
