Gord Brody (Tom Green) is a struggling cartoonist trying to pitch an animated show to Hollywood executives. When he fails, he returns to his hometown with no choice but to live with his parents and younger brother, Freddy (Eddie Kaye Thomas). His father (Rip Torn) doesn't approve of Gord's career path, and pressures him to gain independence. As father and son exchange barbs, Gord comes up with a lie that changes everything: He claims his dad is molesting Freddy, leading to drastic consequences.

My rating system only goes down to one star instead of no stars. But I must confess that every once in a while, a movie comes along that makes me want to take the zero-star plunge -- a movie just like Freddy Got Fingered.

Tom Green's humor, while not for everyone obviously, resonates with many and that is precisely why and how he convinced suited movie company execs to front him the cash for this film. I always have gravitated to the preposterous, childish, irreverent, ridiculous side of humor and as a kid that would explain my affinity for Benny Hill, Monty Python The Young Ones, Fawlty Towers and the like...... This movie is for the initiated few who "get it" and "get Tom Green"...I seriously doubt any newbies to his brand of humor will be converted but to us who already have been, "this is comedy gold, Jerry...comedy gold!!!" (Banya reference) Not sure why I am not giving it 5 stars but I could and would sleep fine at night but it gets 4 solid stars from me!

This movie is the best thing known to man, anyone who says otherwise has no sense of humour and probably hates fun. Funniest thing ever please watch it (Beware there is a lot of crude jokes, some gorey scenes, watch at your own caution)

I love this movie. It's a classic. It's as weird as it gets and super quotable. You don't know what's gonna happen one moment to the next. I love Tom Green in everything and I think this movie is wildly under appreciated. I would love to see it get more love.
