Claudio C @Claudio666 21h Ghosts of War (2020) The Writer’s Bad Trip (12,379 – 06 Apr 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) During WWII, Lt. Chris (Brenton Thwaites) commands his squad formed by Tappert (Kyle Gallner), Butchie (Alan Ritchson), Kirk (Theo Rossi) and Eugene (Skylar Astin) and their mission is to replace another squad guarding a French castle. On arrival, the other group is happy to immediately leave the place. Soon they find that the place is haunted and the ghosts seek revenge against Nazis. Out of the blue, Butchie tells them that nothing is real. "Ghosts of War" (2020) is a promising horror movie despite the violent scenes in the beginning unusual in WWII when soldiers usually respected the enemy. When the movie turns to a ghost story, it becomes intriguing. Unfortunately, the writer has a bad trip and gives an awful conclusion. My vote is five. Purtroppo il livello attoriale veramente scadente, nonostante una serie di attori già visti in diversi film e serie tv, rende poco digestibile qualsiasi sequenza abbia un dialogo al suo interno. La fascia centrale del film, quella in cui si susseguono le apparizioni di fantasmi, resta la meno interessante e vede uno stallo troppo lungo precedere il sorprendente finale. It's basically a rabbit hole with no rabbit and no saving grace. It is weirdly agenda driven intervened by a very lame religious twist. I'm surprised Zane had anything to do with it. Good cast for such a hard fail. See more Mark B @Mbindon Jun 26 This movie is right on the the edge of “ it works”. It feels like a twilight zone at times. A horror movie a thriller. It is a movie that almost works and at time you are so in to . Then we move to the next scene. Overall it almost works . I did not hate and ok I liked 70% of the movie. In the second half, they took the turn over, because your coach didn't know how to make the right changes, 2 x 1 is the final scoreboard. That's Virtushit (VERTULEK).
