The most boring film I have seen in my lifetime! There wasn't a single main character that I gave a damn about except for the small roles of a Handsome Frenchman and a young German. I couldn't finish the film and I don't have any interest in how it ended.

Honestly this movie was so moving and beautiful in the saddest way. Went right into my top 5 favorite holiday movies of all time which also include love actually, the holiday, last holiday and it’s a wonderful life. For me it captured the epitome of grief in love, and will having me gripping my chest in tears for years to come.. 5 STARS!! I would also like to add a nod to the soundtrack 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It starts off pretty well, albeit it needs a little bit more character development. It's emotional in parts, very much so. For me, it turned out to be modern aristocratic drivel. You actually end up feel less and less for the characters as it goes on. I'm not sure where the positive reviews are coming from.

The plot struck close to home as I have both lost my mother at a young age and also a partner. I thought the movie was going to pull more heart strings to be honest. Having said that it did try to encompass the complexity of grief with a few chuckle moments thrown in.
