A lovely independent film in Japanese, set in the Tokyo ballroom dance community, that touches upon the strengths and frailties of life and love. Deals with grief and recovery from loss. Great cast, music. Humorous and touching.

what took hollywood so long to do a Japanese styled Tacos??? wow! this movie is a mixed of Sound of Music with the imaginative humor and emotion depth of EEAAO. i love the use of wide shots being only from one stationary angle. though i would have preferred more views from the Mexican family and more emotional support during the grieving. i also wished there was more dog (only two scenes, really???) and less of Luis being the ghost of Christmas past. also more of the process of the jail scene setup and ha-chan putting on and removing the skeleton makeup.
