Halloween: Resurrection is an embarrassment to a franchise that I hold near and dear to my heart. A franchise that has entertained viewers for the past 40 years and its fans deserved more than this film.

I grew up loving Resurrection and I presumed many did too! Didn't the internet prove me wrong though. It's truly the first Halloween movie where Michael is mostly going after people that are not related to him and even then, he wasn't really targetting them. They just happened to be on his turf. Either way, this movie, while not perfect, is entertaining and enjoyable to watch.

The beginning felt serious and was not going bad but then it became a parody. I love movies that are not serious and are just so bad it’s funny but it gets -1 star because idk if they did it on purpose, I didn’t like the mask and it ended with an open ending.

I cannot see ranking this at the bottom. I thought it was fun, and killing off Laurie (again) was magnificent. Busta Rhymes Freddie was underrated.

Worst Horror film ever made! They killed off Laurie Strode so we can follow some forgettable characters, the acting is horrible, the twists (or excuses) of how Myers survived in H20 are unforgiveable and they have another cliffhanger which never goes anywhere. (Sorry for spoilers.)
