Hope is the kind of movie that encourages talking around, in part that’s because it’s surprising, strange, and entertaining enough to make spoiler avoidance unusually worthwhile. That’s also not the whole story.

Excellent suspense embedded in a deeply cynical but accurate view of human nature. The Alien story remains underdeveloped like an elaborate footnote in a philosopher’s magnum opus. If you’re looking for a rush of blood to the head, this is it.

HOPE turned out to be an unexpected thriller, packed with monster chases and adventure. Picture Predator meets Aliens meets I Am Legend, with a dash of Final Fantasy It's a slow build, and a few stretches feel repetitive, like scenes you've already watched play out again. What keeps it moving is the humor. The comedic moments make the characters feel real and pull you deeper into the story. The CG is just okay. I couldn't tell whether the slightly rough look was a deliberate style choice or the effects just weren't quite there yet. Overall, it's an enjoyable ride. It just didn't need three hours. The whole story could have been told in two.

really non-stop action once it picks up. it's suspenseful, it's comedic, the dialogue is fantastic. and it was really unexpected. at a certain point I felt that it was kind of long but then it has a second wind . I honestly thought it was a zombie movie from the previews but it takes you on a creative twist. I really appreciate the difference in cultural blockbusters. it's a genre bending film that's definitely worth the watch
