Tired of always answering to others, Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) go into business for themselves. After demonstrating the prototype for an invention called the Shower Buddy, the guys attract the attention of Rex Hanson and his father, Bert. Bert invests in the trio's product, then cancels the order and steals their idea. Now heavily in debt and with no legal recourse, Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to kidnap Rex and use the ransom money to pay off their loans.

Horrible Bosses 2 may trigger a few belly laughs among big fans of the original, but all in all, it's a waste of a strong cast that fails to justify its own existence.

There are more laughs on the average job application than in this workplace "comedy." It's misogyny masquerading as humour, with unlikeable characters and an inane premise that diminishes in interest as the running time increases.

I liked the movie. It was really funny, and made me laugh multiple times. I love Jason Bateman and Charlie Day in this film. Nothing against the actor, but the third guy is the weakest link of the characters. His acting was still good though, but I HATED his character. Pretty good movie. Surprisingly I liked this one better than the original.

There were jokes every 30 seconds, felt like they were trying to add too much. The jokes themselves weren't hilarious, and the writing was a bit sloppy. Compared to the first one, this one is a flop.

Synopsis
