A competently crafted if unmemorable thriller perhaps most impressive for its off-screen enterprise. Go to Full Review

This is a rare found-footage horror movie that works as a character study. Go to Full Review

Hunting Matthew Nichols always seems to call its shots, mentioning its cohorts then emulating their style, and Tarasiuk and his team have no doubt sunk their ball. Go to Full Review

... an ambitious effort - blending found-footage horror with a true crime documentary style, only to then try to scare the pants off of you. Go to Full Review

Hunting Matthew Nichols doesn't do anything groundbreaking in the ‘found footage’ horror genre. However, it's a solidly suspenseful movie about a woman making a documentary about searching for her missing brother. Go to Full Review

Hunting Matthew Nichols is a terrifying love letter to the early-oughts found-footage horror craze. It’s seriously scary. Go to Full Review

Mr Hollywood 2d Found footage that adds nothing to the genre. Boring with a typical found footage ending. Waste of time See more Dario B 3d THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT A BAD MOVIE. HOWEVER, IT WAS SO DERIVATIVE OF “THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT” THAT THERE WAS NOTHING NEW OR SURPRISING OR SCARY ABOUT IT. IT HAS ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE. THERE WAS A GREAT PERFORMANCE BY CHRISTINE WILLES THAT IS WORTH NOTING. OTHERWISE I’D RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO THE MOST DIEHARD HORROR FANS ONLY. See more Patrick 4d While it didn’t add tremendously to so many other “found footage” films, this one was still compelling enough to keep me on the edge of my seat! I would recommend it to fans of this genre. See more Jeffrey 5d I would call it an unofficial sequel to the 1999 “Blair Witch Project” that surpasses that movie. It pays homage while delivering its own horrific story in a documentary style. See more Alex 5d Very , very slow burn of a movie , but if you are willing to watch until the end it’s really creepy and a good watch , it’s very good See more lanzwilliam 6d Terrible movie. I would not recommend this to anyone. First hour and 25 min was incredibly boring, last 5 min had couple jump scares…. Can’t believe this made it into theaters. See more Read all reviews
