See more andrea c @Charst 06/04/2025 Format non particolarmente originale con due fratelli protagonisti tra cui il maggiore "pazzo" e il protagonista fratello minore, in equilibrio tra scaltrezza ed intelligenza in una famiglia dal contesto degradato che trasuda criminalità da tutti i pori. Funzionano i toni cupi e crudi della sceneggiatura, i dialoghi schietti e cattivi tengono alta l'attenzione e la presenza di ottimi attori aiuta lo spettatore a provare empatia per i protagonisti. Alcuni aspetti della trama non convincono del tutto; il rapporto familiare tra criminali e poliziotto lascia perplessi e alcune dinamiche che portano i protagonisti verso la tragica fine non convincono per la poca credibilità delle azioni che compiono i due fratelli, che pure non sono rappresentati come "stupidi" ma che si comportano da tali per quasi tutto il film. Finale che trova comunque un buon equilibrio poetico nell'ovvia quanto riuscita drammaticità. See more Margo r @RT54356958 09/26/2023 Great performances by Hartnett, Grillo and Leo. It's a suspenseful script with good action and violence. Dysfunctional family ties. We really liked it. See more 06/13/2022 Okay but not great. There's some pretty good character development. I pretty much hated the title character right from the first moment I laid eyes on her, and that didn't change throughout the film. In fact, this is a whole family full of scummy people. Even the teenage daughter/granddaughter has few, if any, redeeming values. The dance scene right before the demented uncle kills the stranger who witnessed him killing is kind of compelling. But it only serves to illustrate just how selfish and unfeeling he is. And what's so interesting about that? (FWIW, I saw this on an airplane.)
