…well acted, mounted and designed, and defiantly weird in a way that will leaving you talking for hours/days/months afterwards…the story switches direction unexpectedly and focuses more on the arcane minutiae of washing machine repair for the second half.

Original yet silly premise that falls short of cult status. Echos of Argento. Stretches of boring tacking abound but the stylish blood letting scenes are a wonder. Does it save the film? Depends on your mood. Mine was open but it made me want to watch a Gialo from the past.

If you like Wes Anderson you might just like this, but with Wes you do get some Substance to go with the Style. This was all Style. I quite liked the first half but by the end I was just wanting it to stop.

I want to give this movie half a star… usually I expect A24 movies to be great(Civil War aside), but this was just garbage, I’m almost mad at myself for not stopping it a half hour in, the half star was the ending was sort of cool, otherwise it was just filthy to be filthy, no plot, no payoff, don’t bother.

Evil, killer dresses are not scary, just silly. It's listed as "horrorcomedy." Was it supposed to be funny? If so, I didn't get it. Maybe it's a British thing.
