While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it's a breezy, crowdpleasing ride that coasts on the charm of its cast and well-honed scheming, something that fortunately for the audience's sake, the characters aren't capable of themselves.

Una dark comedy che non riesce ad ottenere tensione ne risate; eppure resta talmente demenziale per certi tratti da risultare gradevole nel suo complesso. Sicuramente uno dei pregi più evidenti è la totale assenza di scene di intermezzo, tutte le sequenze infatti sono volte allo sviluppo della trama, che seppure in modo talvolta confusionario, è abbastanza interessante nel suo complesso. Simon Pegg diverte con le sue espressioni e il palese stridio tra la nomea dell'attore in parti comiche ed il ruolo di killer. Non un film per palati raffinati, ma un film divertente.
