I don't understand the low critics' reviews; this was a beautifully made movie with superb acting by Spacey and Bridges. Spacey is a brilliant actor and this showcases his talent. The story telling is powerful and moving; I don't know what the critics were looking for, but I thought this was powerful and memorable.

There are some movies you keep pulling for. You want it to be something great, and with craftsmen like Spacey and Bridges, you expect it to be, but... This is also a movie that is difficult to review without giving too much away. So, enjoy the performances and be disappointed with the ending, but the performances and the first third of the movie, are worth the time.
