While the holiday season represents the most magical time of year, ancient European folklore warns of Krampus, a horned beast who punishes naughty children at Christmastime. When dysfunctional family squabbling causes young Max (Emjay Anthony) to lose his festive spirit, it unleashes the wrath of the fearsome demon. As Krampus lays siege to the Engel home, mom (Toni Collette), pop (Adam Scott), sister (Stefania LaVie Owen) and brother must band together to save one another from a monstrous fate.

While this is not the most impressive movie I’ve seen, it’s damn solid and very full of Christmas feels. It’s got lots of fun characters, and enough creepy imagery and tension to keep you on your toes while sippin’ on some nog.

i remember when i first watched this on demand back in highschool on christmas eve. i was horror and paranormal crazed growing up, but around that time couldn’t find any movies and shows to truly draw me in. i was extremely desensitized and lots of movies in that genre bored me. but this movie? it immediately became a favorite. it gives just the right amount of funny and downright disturbing with an amazing atmosphere. after christmas of 2016, i watched this movie every Christmas and every now and then i’ll watch it before or after. keep the spirits mfs or krampus gone come for ya!

Um filme bom e que sinceramente merecia mais reconhecimento,pode até sim ter algumas partes que podem ser meio tediante,mais se você pegar a história em si e a maneira que foi executada, ficou muito admirável sim, atuação incrível,um terror mediano mais que dá aquele certo medo e principalmente um final surpreendente.

Watched this because my partner and I love Krampus…the legend, story, the whole idea… We’re upset to have spent $8 to rent it over a decade after its debut - it was SO stupid. It COULD have been good, but all I can say is it was really, really *really* dumb.
