With its good use of a single location and just three characters, Long Lost almost works, though its fun twist would have felt fresher a decade ago. Go to Full Review

Unfortunately, while Long Lost has its moments, it ultimately fails to capitalize on its intriguing premise. Go to Full Review

The video and audio quality is great, the acting is both uncomfortable and hilarious but in a great way and the story is interesting. Go to Full Review

A nifty little three hander, Bloomquist's low budget film will take its audience on a cinematic mystery tour, but he's made sure the SAT Nav is turned-off so they won't know where they're going. Go to Full Review

Bisquiteen T 2d So, it's a decent enough thriller - it builds suspense well, and it's a little weird, and mildly uncomfortable - but Seth is really the only competent actor here. The Terrifier chick is basically a bucket of wall plaster, and the brother is like if Patrick Bateman was completely, unequivocally, thoroughly uninteresting to the audience. Yes, he's obnoxious. No, that's not enough to make him compelling. I understand making a character repellent, but if the actor makes the character unwatchable, the movie becomes unwatchable. The sexual tension scenes are also terrible because it's like Seth is responding to, well, a bucket of wall plaster, and no, that's not a plot point. It's just really, really bad performances from two-thirds of the cast. The script isn't the big loser here as usual; it's the casting (except Seth, who was adequate). The alcoholism storyline was so very underexplored. What as the point of all that? No change in behavior. The twist ending was an eh, so altogether, meh. See more Regina P 05/16/2023 I just felt by the end that the entire film was pointless. See more JJJJJJ J 03/12/2023 The ending was a bit of a let down but the rest was really good. Over the first hour and hour and fifteen in someways nothing happened yet it was always able to keep me engaged. There were some shots that could have been better here and there but the rest was really well done. The film was aware of its limitations and for the most part was really engaging. Two of the three main characters were really well done and kept me interested throughout. I'd recommend this to horror fans, or anyone who really likes the "invited to rich crazy persons house" horror genre. See more 06/20/2022 I always have trouble writing a review for this film. While I really enjoyed the film, I don't consider it a horror film. Along the way, we learn about the true intentions of each character, but then you question if their intentions are true or not, once again leaving you to scratch your head as to what's going on. It includes characters who are hard to read (a good thing), which is helpful as it builds up for an ending that is a pure mind-fuck (another good thing). See more 01/03/2020 The camera work and directing are quite effective as well. The story is a thriller that starts with a child-like game between house-guests that builds the tension by having one participant become unhinged, leading to twisted results. Great acting seals the deal on a unique thriller. See more 12/07/2019 Not worth watching. The reveal was stupid and the end was dissapointing. See more Read all reviews
