Adrian E @RT37114213 1 day ago This was the most asinine movie about child predators… I cringed more at the obvious/repetitive storytelling and some seriously terrible acting from "Benny" rather than the actual disturbing subject matter. I will say that the other actors did a solid job, but almost anyone else could have played the lead better than the guy they chose. This movie makes me feel like the director thinks an audience needs to be spoon-fed a very simple premise. Rather than crafting a nuanced series of events, the film’s writer just kept slapping on messier situations and pretended that convoluting the movie would be enough to move the story forward. Also, none of this is even remotely believable. Situations like this occur, but they don’t play out like that. The worst part is that I usually find this subject matter fascinating albeit disturbing…. And this could have honestly been great with some MAJOR re-writing/re-structuring… it had the concept/makings of an interesting film, but the execution failed. Their plan to film a guy admitting to being a predator goes terribly awry and from there on out it’s a bloody ride.
