A case of mistaken identity puts a man named Slevin (Josh Hartnett) in the middle of a war between two rival New York crime lords: The Rabbi (Ben Kingsley) and the Boss (Morgan Freeman). While under the watchful eyes of Detective Brikowski (Stanley Tucci) and well-known assassin Goodkat (Bruce Willis), Slevin must quickly devise a plan to save his skin before his luck runs out.

Trying too hard to be clever in a Pulp Fiction kind of way, this film succumbs to a convoluted plot, overly stylized characters, and dizzying set design.

Love this movie. Arguably one of Josh Hartnets best films and performances imo. He's got good comedic timing. A bit corny but good. The way the movie plays out, the surprise at the end. Great revenge movie.

Cool character building. --- (Entertainment Value: 4.5/5) Just sit back and enjoy the ride, you will be rewarded! --- (Expectations vs. Reality: 4.5/5) It has been a while since watching this movie and I forgot about the witty dialog and jokes. Was still pleasantly surprised all these years later.

I’m not sure why I’ve put this off so long. It’s was pretty dang good. Acting was great. Story has plenty of twists, it’s pretty gripping, and progresses well. Some good jokes. No complaints honestly.
