Elijah Wood does a great job here playing the super psychotic killer with major mummy issues. The vibes are creepy, the music is great and the kills are gory. An underrated little horror gem

Elijah is a hurt little boy turned slasher that puts scalps on his restored mannequins. An attempt is made to give some understanding for the poor guy, but it's mostly just deranged killing.

Boring, self important, glossy, unrealistic and unnecessary remake of the 80' classic. I was hopeful on the first scene but as most always, The Dreaded CGI gore came into view and ruined what could have been an extension in such an exercise. The knife under her chin wasn't long enough to kill or plunged with enough force to impact the brain and the scalping was a simple slash that capped her off lol. I'm a stickler for realism as most should be when dealing with this subject matter. Bleh nuff said
