See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 1d Mike, Nick, Nick, and Alice is a decent enough sci-fi dramedy that blends futuristic ideas with grounded reality in a way that keeps it watchable, even if it never becomes anything truly great. I expected it to be a little more entertaining, but it still has enough charm to hold your attention. Vince Vaughn is very hit or miss for me, and here he lands somewhere in the middle. He is not bad, but he is not the strongest part of the film either. James Marsden once again proves why he is such a reliable actor, bringing charisma and depth to the material. Eiza González, Keith David, and Jimmy Tatro also help give the movie life and energy. The screenplay takes a familiar time-travel concept but avoids becoming too cheesy, which helps the ending feel fresher than expected.
