The set and CGI support provides fantastic viewing. I loved the ideas, the designs and the look and style of the sets. However, as the movie progresses, the poor dialogue, flimsy interaction between characters and lack of character development, means that the movie ultimately fails to provide excitement. Watch it for the Steampunk, but do not expect to your heartbeat to increase when the baddies do their stuff. The action and world-building were easily the strongest parts for me, and the atmosphere felt epic the whole way through.
