I would’ve preferred a smaller cast, but it was still a decent time overall. So far, this is my favorite Jennifer Aniston movie. Despite having a cast full of talented actors some of them actually among my favorites, the performances felt incredibly unnatural. I genuinely didn’t enjoy it at all. Everything was painfully predictable. There was barely any real character development, and the "funny" lines weren’t funny in the slightest. The child actors were especially terrible. Honestly, it felt like every actor was performing in a completely different movie. The whole thing had this weird, disconnected energy, like no one understood the same tone. And the extra details somehow made it worse. Julia Roberts’ wig looked awful. Did Walmart sponsor the wardrobe department? Were the extras underpaid? That wedding scene was genuinely unbearable also I wanted to look away the entire time. In the end, the only thing I liked about this movie was when it was over. Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Garner also help ground the film emotionally, making several of the storylines feel relatable and sincere. The screenplay keeps the different stories flowing smoothly, creating a steady mix of comedy and emotional moments that never become too heavy.
