With such canny scene-stealers as Gwynne, Smith, Pendleton, McGill and Chaykin filling out the cast, it is very hard for My Cousin Vinny to go wrong, and indeed, for the purpose of pleasant Saturday night entertainment, it does not.

My Cousin Vinny is the clear standout in the courtroom‑comedy genre. Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei are absolutely perfect together — every scene between them is electric, funny, and full of personality. Fred Gwynne steals every moment he’s in; his dry delivery and towering presence make the comedy land even harder (and yes, I still see Herman Munster every time he walks in). The movie is not just hilarious, it’s legitimately accurate — law schools actually use it to teach cross‑examination. Between the unforgettable characters, the timing, and the writing, this film is a must‑own and endlessly rewatchable.

It's keeps your attention the whole time great to get a feel of how court really works pesci really get the role perfect with a lot of good supporting characters as well I would definitely watch again it feels like a perfect 90's throw back

Other than a lot of use of the Big "F" word. Which is customary in Joe Pesci movies. Everyone loves an angry Italian! Movie is defiantly worth watching.
