Relentlessly optimistic and incredibly wholesome, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes is both the feel-good movie of the fall that other films should aspire to be and the silver screen debut of what I'd call probably one of the most popular anime series of 2018.

I appreciate that this movie actually expands on the world of My Hero Academia and also explores more of All Might's backstory. Apart from that the movie is very predictable and forgettable.

A flashy, heartfelt detour from the main series, Two Heroes blends high-stakes action with genuine emotional warmth. While it doesn’t reshape the overarching story, it excels as a cinematic celebration of friendship, legacy, and the spirit of heroism. The animation dazzles, the dub performances surprise, and fans—new and old—will find plenty to love. A vibrant side quest that earns its place in the MHA universe.
