Don't be put off by the ambiguous-sounding title and the lack of star names. Mystic Pizza is a marvelously warm and funny comedy-drama that is frankly sentimental but never cloying.

This is a really cute movie that doesn't play very well in 2025. It fairly contrived. That being said, it did have a certain charm seeing it in the theatres. I'm not going to keep it but wouldn't hold it against anyone for wanting to.

It is a classic, a warm romantic comedy, and a slow-paced movie. Everyone has a unique film and should watch it at least once. It is excellent for Autumn.

Nothing about the plot may jump off the page, but the reason this film is so good is that it does the same things but FAR BETTER than any other romantic dramedy. Talk about a powerhouse cast…though seemingly ordinary, the characters are just so interesting and fun to watch in winter, spring summer or fall. BELIEVE the hype!
