Blake- N @PBSAniDom 3d Nothing But Trouble (1991) is a film I struggled to find any enjoyment in. What could have been a bizarre dark comedy with an interesting premise ends up feeling chaotic and uneven, with very little payoff for the time spent watching it. The tone is all over the place, swinging between comedy and discomfort in a way that rarely feels intentional or effective. Instead of leaning into its weirdness in a clever way, it mostly comes across as messy and difficult to follow, with humor that misses more often than it lands. By the end, it becomes hard to stay engaged because there’s little structure or narrative momentum to hold onto. Even with its cult reputation, it didn’t work for me at all. I’d rank it a 1/10. This is a cringingly awful movie, easily one of the 10 worst ever made. The only reason it has even the meager audience score it does is because the few people who aren't repelled apparently really like the movie, and they are the ones who take the time to post their score. But that can't possibly be more than 5%. Most people who are repelled don't bother, and that drives the score up to merely 'bad' instead of 'melt it down'. Do yourself a favor - DON'T find out for yourself. I wish someone had told me that years ago. See more Jake W @RT00634493 Nov 1 I don't understand why this movie is rated so poorly. Mega star cast and a completely different kind of comedy for everyone in it. It's vial, hilarious, and kinda scary all at once. No other movie is remotely like it and that's what's so great about it.
