La película se apoya además, en un elegante soundtrack, que consta de solamente una canción y que acompaña de manera conveniente el ritmo pasivo y la naturaleza reflexiva del filme. Desafortunadamente, y a pesar de ser una canción interesante, después de tantas apariciones se torna monótona y repetitiva. Sin demasiados personajes y sin mucha acción, On the Beach at Night Alone se sostiene en base a sus diálogos llenos de opiniones y análisis acerca del amor y las relaciones humanas en general. Al final, la protagonista ha logrado explorar y convivir de cerca con sus propios sentimientos y demonios, encaminándose cada vez más hacia la comprensión de los mismos. Su búsqueda la acerca al conocimiento de la verdad y al entendimiento del amor, dejando al mismo tiempo en evidencia la relatividad de dichos conceptos.
