It would be nice to report that there’s more to it. But there barely is, aside from some brutal bits of slapstick violence that temporarily mar the heroine’s face and body with bruises and blood.

"One More Shot" doesn’t seem to know what kind of film it wants to be, potentially turning off viewers in the mood for a wild ride through time, while passes at seriousness are borderline absurd. It’s all very unsatisfying.

I don't mind Aussie films im from Australia myself but even ik some Aussie films are a hit and a miss at times. This movie i didn't really get into. It gave British movie vibes it was a straight to Stan movie with some of the accents wasn't a fan of that. Emily browning good acting haha tho can't say that for the rest of the cast. The movie had a good premise time travelling alcohol. If u told me this was an Australian film I wouldn't believe u. It sounded like most of the cast had British accents and it was shot in London or something idk tbh. Me personally I prefer the hot tub time machine movies as they were whacky and comedy gold
