Anyone who was tickled by an evil Pooh Bear may get a kick out of an evil Pinocchio, but the director’s so-called Twisted Childhood Universe remains a pretty old-hat idea, not mined here with any great daring.

Pinocchio Unstrung mischievously leans into campy comedy in ways that previous horror movies in the Twisted Childhood Universe failed to do. There is an intriguing, suspenseful, and darkly hilarious story here, instead of just mindless kills.

one of the better films in TCU . It can be very gory at times and comedic. if you feel like you might enjoy a film about a killer puppet, then give this a shot.

OMG! Way better than I expected! My favorite horror film of the year so far! Total retro 90’s Full Moon Pictures vibe. All done with puppets and practical effects. No CGI. A must see in the theater!!
