Martha is an introverted woman who moves to a retirement community that has shuffleboard, golf, bowling and other activities. Hoping to be left alone, she meets Sheryl, a fun-loving neighbor who insists that they become best pals. After coming out of her shell, Martha and her new friend decide to form a cheerleading squad with their fellow residents. As the two women hold auditions, they soon learn that it's never too late to follow your dreams, even when the odds are stacked against you.

Making a movie about seniors who are self-confident and connected with each other and the younger generation in a meaningful way is a noble goal. Unfortunately, Poms doesn't make the cut.

Keaton and Weaver bring plenty of personality to their characters, and while the narrative is rattled through rather hastily, Poms just about transcends the cheesiness of its premise.

A fantastic movie for women of a certain age and Diane Keaton fans. It is funny and interesting as it addresses older age situations and dealing with death and illness. The cast is fantastic!

In my opinion, the movie uses very good camera and audio visual equipment and the crew members and the filmmakers have played their roles very well. I really liked it.
