Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, fugitive Riddick fights for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he has yet encountered. This was my favorite in the Riddick series. I liked them all, but this one was more personal and direct. Gives you a better understanding of the character. His sheer willpower to survive by any means necessary is incredible!

CGI might’ve been good for back then idk. Vinny killed it with saying words. Would be 5 stars if it was a prelude to Guardians and he just said “I am Groot” the whole time.

Riddick's army betrays him on his search for his home world, Furya, leaving him for dead on a deserted planet where he must beacon mercenaries to get off. They did a good job intertwining the first two films and visually this is the best one yet, but they didn't seem to add much to the story and Riddick is kinda cringey.
